i lived in mexico city,
and of course you can get a suntan !
after all it's mexico..just by walking outside for a bit you already get a little colour, anyways..the smog has nothing to do with getting a tan BTW..

No but close of here is Cuernavaca about 1 hour, and its a great please for your SUNTA.

Yes, the weathers great - depending on what time of the year you go. Just be careful not to go during huricane season.

Its closer to the equator so yes use sun block.

not really...it is very smoggy and it is far from resort like. however it is at a high altitude (look out for burns) and depending on the time of the year can be very sunny

you can catch a sun tan anywhere in the sun

Mexico City is good because of the history, people, culture, sites, smells (some nice, and some bad)..

Get to the Zocalo, Teotichucan, and generally walk around, be careful but no more than any other city common sense and all that..

take a bus tour from the zocalo, big red bus

eat from the people selling food on the streets, you can't miss them, if locals eat there, you know it is good
