I can tell you NOT to go to Cancun thats where all the crazy kids go so they can drink since the drinking age is 18. DONT go to Puerto Vallarta because there is high crime rate because of drug cartels. I say go here http://www.fodors.com/world/mexico%20and%20central%20america/index.html

You should definitely visit Puerto Peñasco, Sonora (a.k.a Rocky Point ), Great Beaches! awesome luxury Condominiums & lots of places to have fun!

I've been to Cancun and Cozumel. I really liked Cozumel. It is a little less touristy, because it is a relatively small island. The hotels are only built on one side of the island, so the other side is pure and untouched, except for a few little bar huts. You can rent a scooter and drive around the island for like 10-20 USD.
If you wind up going, try to avoid using credit cards. We had a tour-guide that kept following us around, trying to get us to sign up to take tours, etc. We finally did, and he insisted we pay with "plastic money." He charged our CC with the trip fee of course, and found out after we came home that he also bought himself a mountain bike with the card. |

NOT Mexico City. I was there last month and it STINKS! Literally, it smells like cheap gasoline everywhere you go, I wanted to puke.
If you're looking for a vacation look no further than Cancun or La Paz. |

i have been to lots of places in Mexico. I would recommend Cancun or PLaya Del Carmen on the Atlantic side. It has very nice beaches and lots of stuff to do. If you want to be on the Pacific side there is Puerto Vallarta. It doesn't have the nicest beaches but it was really good.

Just avoid the hurricane season! Depends what you want in a holiday...Cancun is the hotel Mecca, but there are some lovely places inland, and Mexico City has to be seen... |
