Why does everyone think Mexico is ALWAYS hot? Sure some areas are hot, esp. in the summer, but much of Mexico is at hgh elevation and seldom if ever gets over 80 degrees F. Anytime is a great time to visit Mexico. if weather and temperature are a concern to you, choose a location with the type of weather you like. I am an American living in Mexico ...and there are many great places to visit besides the well-known beach areas. |

Do you mean delincuency, just inform yourself, when you chose the city to visit, which areas are good to be and have fun.
I am Mexican, but I live since 8 years in Europe, Iwas really scared about the news, but I was there and I didn´t see anything different and enjoyed my stay very much. |

As far as the weather, it depends. In the mountains, bring an umbrella and long pants (trousers if you're from GB). It does get rather cool.
If you're not in the mountains, it does get hot during the day.
If you're worried about your safety, check the Department of State web site. It's their job to look out for American interests.

Nope, anytime is a good time to visit Mexico. You will be going into the tropics or semi-tropics, and if you are not in high elevation the weather will be tropical or semi-tropical. That could mean that it is hot, mild, or cold. And yes, there is snow and ice in Mexico.

The US Dept. of State sends out scary messages about the Border cities, crime, drug cartels, assassinations, so exaggerated. Tourism is a highly developed industry in Mexico providing many jobs for its inhabitants. Always a good time to visit.Today in Northern Baja there's June gloom, but sunny and hot in the afternoons. Surf's up. |

As an American I can tell you its ot bad, yes theres is crime and things going on but American has it too. Where I go I really dont see anything happen (knock on wood ) and my trip is next week. I can tell you if your going to the beach areas then drink plenty of bottled water or gatorade cause it is hot. Also take plenty of suncream. Then just sit back and relax cause there is no rush there (except the taxi drivers) lol... |
