You can buy bottle water anywhere, therefore you don't need to worry about carrying it. Have fun.

Not because is a third world country it mean they don't have clean water to drink, they have clean bottled water at any store, just like USA.
Yes they also have electricity, TV, computers, internet access, beds, cars and bathrooms, yes with running water.

No, you should be able to find bottled water fairly easy anywhere in Cancun.

Have a safe trip i wish i could come along .
You may want to buy some bottled water once you get there to be safe .
When i went to the Bahamas i could not drink the water so i drank bottled water instead .
It is not worth the trouble trying to get use to their drinking water you could get sick and ruin the trip .

I have been going to Cancun for 10 years. I can drink the water within my resort because they have a purification system on site. I would recommend drinking bottled water anywhere else. Bottled water is fairly cheap. I would recommend taking a pepto chewable or two on the plane ride there to prepare your stomach and maybe doing some hotel water and some bottled water for the first few days, just to get yourself used to it. Just use caution, the worst thing you can do is make yourself sick from drinking the water. So take it slow, see how smaller amounts of the hotel water effect you and then if you are okay incorporate more into your day. Have fun!

If it will ease your mind then bring some. Remember to put the water in your checked bags because if its in your carry on TSA will have you dump out any liquids that exceed the 3 oz limit.

If they provide you will clean bottled water I wouldn't worry about it. They also sell bottled water in the shops around town too.

You don't have to carry water, there are too many mini-marts where you can purchase bottles of drinking water.
Try Bonafont or Santa Maria brands.

If you have room in your checked luggage you may want to bring some, but I've never had a problem with getting bottled water at any of the resorts I've stayed at. It's usually stocked in the mini fridge daily and they will give you more if you ask and slip a $5.00 bill in the mini bar, you'll never run out of water.

The water Quality in Cancun is good right now. I do live in Mexico and was just over in Playa Del Carmen two week ago. Carmen is located about 35 min. South of Cancun. A sweet little town well worth a day trip.

The water clarity for diving was 65-70 feet water temp was 78 degrees give or take a few degrees.
Enjoy your trip and next time choose Cabo San Lucas.
MUCH BETTER PLACE!!!!! I love it so much I moved their from Colorado.
