Right now all is calm. Go and have a great trip. Cancun was not effected by the last 2 hurricanes.

Enjoy and have a Margarita for me)

I just came back on Wednesday and the weather is perfect down there! No rain even!

Alicia in Cancun
Greetings from Cancun.

We are safe and sound...

Mother nature has her own way where ever you are...and she has been very kind to Cancun this year. Threats of hurricanes period! We received a little wind and rain nothing more. As for the future...only Mother knows for sure and she is very fickle.

Please don't worry about something you have no control over and there are no pending hurricanes out in the sea.

Come to paradise and enjoy the beauty and all that life has to offer.

Your friend in Cancun...

I think Cancun is safe now that they just had a hurricane hit but had no real damage. Go and enjoy yourself...If a hurrican hits, you'll be told where to go for safety...ln a day, you'll be back on the beach!

Always buy water and a flashlight when you travel during hurricane season..just in case!

Have fun!

While there are no guarantees in life or on the weather in Cancun I would bet that you will have great beach weather.

As for safety, you'll be fine as long as you are sensible. As for safety from hurricanes if that's what you mean, again you'll be fine. There is nothing even on the radar right now and even if something develops in not like you wouldn't have advanced warning. Hurricanes generally move at about 20 miles an hour and warnings are days in advance.

You'll be fine. The odds of a hurricane actually hitting Cancun are very slim. Less than 1%.

"The probability of a hurricane strike in any one location on any given day is extremely low. So you are probably safe without buying "event insurance."" - Dr. Richard J. Pasch, Senior Hurricane Specialist at the National Hurricane Center in Miami,

There was a hurracain a few days ago. You should really think about going now. It might spoil your trip.
