Tradition.
All able bodied members of the family continue to support the family until they start one of their own.

Because they are good sons and want to help mom. Mexicans have very strong family and religious values, they care and help each other. Something we selfish americans could learn from.

Mexican men love their mothers. Its tradition for a son to take care of old or ailing parents.

I know that in north america, europ, asia, work and the salary or the money they receiv for the work is for their life or future life. In almost every south america, the money who enter to one country of southamerica take a big part of the balance economic inside the country, so it does mean, that in southamerica exist the culture to support their momis or family.........

Mexicans are all about family. If your mom was living in a shack with dirt floors and 100 bucks a month could really help wouldn't you send it? I know I wouldn't but I'm not Mexican.

because they have good morale's. these people have been raised to help family selflessly which more people should learn. and to all the haters these wages are taxed and these people you complain about actually help stimulate our weak economy! so please open your small minds get on with your own life.

it's not just mexican people that do it ... people all over the world do it to support their families back home. My mom and uncle take turns sending money to our family back home because it's tough to find a job in very isolated areas, and its basically your duty to take care of your parents when they become of age.

Well they love their mothers... cant blame em for that.. holmes!
