With 88.456 pesos you would be able to pay for 3 or 5 trips on a taxi. the local bus charges about 5 pesos. a soda should be 6 to 8 pesos in the grocery store. a meal in a restaurant (not in a toursit Area)... you can pay more things with 8 dls in mexico than you would in the US. not a looooot more things, but just things are a little cheaper there (not in tourist areas though).
