You will need:
- Jeans, cactus's will tear up slacks
- Shirt, light color...dark colors absorb sunlight
- Hat, one with a brim for keeping the sun off your ears/eyes
- A backpack, for carrying lots of water
- Fake documentation, passport, and ID
- A pair of good Sneakers

May I suggest Brinco Sneakers, they come with a map of the border region, printed within the shoe's insole and a compass and mini-flashlight allow the wearer to navigate the terrain night and day.

Buy a Mexico soccer team t-shirt and wear it either imitating a player (shorts, sneakers, long socks) or with jeans as a fan.

Well if you try a cowboy outfit try to make your self a Mexican sombrero with a large cardboard box, paint it black , put shiny objects in the rim, make a big mustache with painted cotton, ware a long sleeve white collar shirt, button up half way open, try to get some fake golden chains for your neck and wrist, aaaah also get an image from Virgen de Guadalupe, printed big and glue it on the back of your shirt
Get a belt with a big buckle some toy guns in the side, a fake police bage, wrangler jeans, glue some taps from bottles of beer on the sides of the pants( like Mariachi singer), get some cowboy boots....and you can call your self a Mexican Federal policeman wrongly known as Federalae.

you can try to find a t-shirt with the "virgen de guadalupe" image on it. It's so mexican.... so so so soooooo mexican....

you can actually get an image of the virgin in any mexican place either a restaurant or grocery shop ,then you just need to go to the nearest printing service shop and tell them:

Several different ways to go it you can be straight cheddar and wear some tight wrangler jeans a nice silk button up and a wwe heavyweight champion belt and some gator boots and a mile high hat, and only drink tecate beer or modelo. option 2 would be to do it straight G homes all murdered out in Dickie's shave your head off and wear some Nike cortez and loc sun lasses and only drink corona beer. Depending of the people to who you're going with. But I'm pretty sure you won't need a hat or boots by rule.
Just dress normally, a shirt and jeans and sneakers.... or shoes, o tshirt.... just look nice, not like you just woke up.
