I know, when I used to live in Puerto Vallarta, I would see all this toruists that looked at me like if I was something less than them. I don't have anything against any race, but I agree that tourists, especially white people go down there and consider themselves superior and want everything to be done for them just for a low amount of money.

But I don't really care because I know many of them are not even like me, because what I think matters, is my morals and principles, not my money.

there are 'white' mexicans too you know. what does race have to do with tourism? if you wanna bring up race what about the way mexicans treat blacks? they're very racist. your question is more of a rich treating the poor like crap not 'whites' acting superior.

i go to mexico all the time, and i get treated with respect and dignity everytime by everyone.i am not better than anyone with the exception of you,if you are a real mexican,why not let us know who you really are...i will tell you this much,chuy,salvadore,keep the hate in yourself and stop this racist crap.i think you are an ignorant racist that is anything but mexican.

I live in Mexico, have traveled to several tourist hot spots in here and haven't seen what you're talking about. Then again I'm white, and tall. So I wouldn't bet my life this doesn't happen. Also, Americans are tourists by excellence and they know better than to bring too much attention to themselves in a foreign country.

What I HAVE been witness to, is discrimination against Mexicans in certain resorts, especially in CancÃºn. White foreign tourists do get better treatment from personnel of certain Mexican hotels.
But I don't think you should take this as Mexicans liking Americans better. It is BUSINESS. It is comparable to what Night Clubs in general do. They're trying to create a homogeneous environment so the bulk of the clientele doesn't feel uncomfortable.

Reality is most Mexicans couldn't care less about White Americans themselves.

Sin embargo, como resultado de la mala reputaciÃ³n que han adquirido internacionalmente por las invasiones a AfganistÃ¡n e Irak, ya no son tan bien vistos en otros paÃses.
Yo he notado un cambio en la actitud de los turistas estadounidenses, tendientes a no llamar tanto la atenciÃ³n. Ellos te dirÃ¡n que por miedo a ser asaltados. Lo que es cierto. Pero tambiÃ©n ellos saben que no son bien vistos. A menos que se vayan a Israel o la India.

LMAO! mexicans are EXTREMELY racist people! They're constantly comming up with new insults for 'white', 'black', and 'asian' people. I live in CA so I've had enough exposure to them. How do you "kNOW' it was a 'white" person and not a 'white" mexican?? lol
