I went to Mexico in May of this year and although I didn't stay at the moon palace I met quite a few people who did. I haven't heard a bad word about the place, I have been there and it is beautiful, although it is quite a few miles out of the main town, if you want to party then it may be a long taxi journey late a night!

It was my honeymoon too and I stayed in the Golden Parnassus, which I can HIGHLY recommend, it;s an adult only resort which is why we chose this one above the moon palace, as we didn't want screaming kids running round when we were trying to relax I can honestly say it was the best holiday I have ever had and I can't praise it highly enough, the staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you, food is great and location to die for! If you do decide to go make sure you upgrade to a sea view room its worth every penny, especially a there is a jacuzzi in you room which looks out over the sea how romantic!

Check out trip advisor there are loads of reviews on both hotels to help you decide. Have fun!

Been past it and I think I might have been to one of its sister hotels. Try www.tripadviser.co.uk a brilliant website with reviews from people who may have stayed there - candid visitor photos too.

We stayed in the Moon Palace 5 years ago. It was fantastic. There were 5 restaurants in the section of the hotel we stayed in, all serving fabulous food and we had free access to all the sister hotels that were in Cancun. You could actually go stay in the other hotels if you wanted. We spend a couple of nights in the adult only Moon Palace about 50 miles from our own hotel. The rooms were fabulous. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom and the shower was the size of a small room. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. As they were all inclusive we never had to put our hands in our pockets. You could have champagne for breakfast if you wanted. The private beaches were lovely and they are big into water sports. If you go, you should have a great time.

The moon palace is a giant compound of soon to be close to 3,000 rooms, which is in the middle of well nothing around it. Gorgeous hotel. I booked one honeymoon couple there and they really enjoyed it, however in my personal opinion it is more of a family place and there are better choices than this for a Honeymoon anyways.

I would highly recommend staying further down in the Mayan Riviera area. Much better choices!

The reviews look nice, someone else was asking about the place as well, it gets good enough reports, I would think it is a nice choice.

Moon palace is beautiful! If you want luxury it is definitely the place to go. I'm going in October and it will be my 5th time. It spoils you so much you wont want to go on vacation anywhere else.

Moon Palace is a GREAT property. Since this is your Honeymoon though I would recommend it's sister property the Aventura Spa Palace it's for adults only and you still have the exchange priveleges with Moon as well as they other Palace resort. Let me know If I can help with Pricing I have some great rates

I've been twice in the last few years, and Im going again in Feb. It was brilliant. The only thing that lets it down is the seaweed, but it is cleared off of the beach daily.

quite a nice medium class hotel..The hotels along Mexicos Mayen Riviera are far nicer..Cancun too rowdy for a honeymoon.
