My boyfriend is going to Playa Del Carmen for spring break, should i be nervous?

Honey....he is going to Mexico.....everywhere in Mexico is a party place.....if that is what you are looking for. Get real...he is a Senior guy...he is going to want to party some. There are some wonderful clubs in Playa del Carmen that he shouldn't miss out on. If you are secure in your relationship.....what do you have to worry about??? He is young...he is senior.....I am sure he is going with friends.....he SHOULD go have fun. Life is too short and he is too young not to enjoy himself. He can go clubbing and not be with other girls. If he does get with a girl...he was gonna do it anyway. Better to find out now than later. Let him enjoy himself and don't worry. One never knows when they will take their last breath.......I know......I buried two sons....21 and 15. I am all about enjoying life...especially when you are young. Think about it and ask yourself what you really want him to do.....go and sit in the room.....or get out and live life while he can. Just because he goes to a club doesn't mean he isn't thinking about you or that he is looking for a girl. He has a girl at home waiting for him. Chill....and don't worry!!!!

i'm 23 and when i was in playa del carmen i felt bad for high schoolers because the crowd was more mature. however if he is going on high schooler's spring break or for summer's senior trip then that's a different story. playa del carmen is paradise and if there's a bunch of highschoolers from all over in paradise well then boys will be boys. you should be worried but hey you know your boy better than i do. i would suggest you take matters into your own hands. plan on going on a vacation with the ladies to hawaii las vegas or another part of mexico and live it up, you're so young to be tied down like that... i'm not saying you should cheat on him but at least HAVE FUN with friends, don't sit at home worrying at him, because if he ends up cheating then you'll regret your wasted time but if he doesn't then you'll be relieved and happy and he'll be relieved and happy too that you didn't cheat on your vacation...

Its for a more mature crowd, but cancun its only 40 min away, if he is good looking, that were you are from girls always hit on him well yes be worried, if he is kind of a dork that dont worry, he wont even cath a mosquito bite

Well Playa Del Carmen is quite a ways from the "downtown" area in Cancun. There really isn't much of a club atmosphere in Playa Del Carmen. But some hotels in the area provide free shuttles into the Cancun area. It's like a 30 drive between the 2 places. If you trust him and he respects you, there should be nothing to worry about. Playa Del Carmen is more romance/family. A lot of honeymooners.

Rent the movie "cancun"....that'll make you nervous. There are going to be a lot of drunk, horny college students all along the Mayan Riviera...beware!

First of all, I'd ask for proof that he's going to Playa. Playa is more of a romantic, honeymoon paradise---not so much a party place. Still some clubs but not the kind of place that you want to get wasted in. Cancun, on the other hand 45 mintues maybe? Now there's something to worry about. That place is UNREAL. Tell me if you want to go together; we can spy on him....

Playa del Carmen , or Cancun it's awesome! I think you will need to trust your boyfriend, if he's going to cheat, he'll cheat......and you nag him and worry it won't change the situation either, I would trust him, and if you can't you shouldn't be with him.
