Well the person above me has covered the basic suggestions. Mexico does have a variety of museums. Bellas Artes is a really good one. The anthropology museum one is really good if you interested in history and culture. For any museum just be sure to find out what exhibitions are gonna be there and try to see if those are the days ur gonna be there for example last time I went we saw an exhibition on frida Kahlo and her art and house. Chapultepec also has a good zoo and theme park ( i think the theme park itself became a six flags not too sure) There also the markets which have the cheapest prices i've seen and you could buy just about any ting. Mexico City is huge so my suggestion is that if your gonna be staying in a hotel then ask the front desk about tour buses that take take to all the main attractions all in one drive in the city and than the next few days try to hit those spots. Have fun
