I just came back from Playa del Carmen a couple weeks ago. Playa del Carmen is filled with tons of little hotels, most of them all at good prices. There are only two major hotels in Playa del Carmen, one of them being Gran Porto Real and the hotel right next to it. Other than that all of the hotels are fairly small but very cozy and cute. Look around and price around and you'll find something you like there, there's so many. They have a lot of hotels that are just for adult's too. Have fun!
