Post Hurricane Cancun?

I'm going to Cancun in May, 2007. I've been once before, but this was before it was hit by the hurricane. Can anyone suggest some places to go in the Hotel Zone or in Downtown? Have any places closed down?

Most of the hotels have been renovated since Wilma.
There many nice hotels in the Hotel zone. All-Inclusive and non-inclusive.

The Palace Resorts are inclusive and very nice and very popular.

The J.W. Marriott/CasaMagna Marriott are not inclusive and have a good reputation.
Here is a site to read reviews and some photos.

Everything is pretty much back to normal... The Mexican gvt spent a LOT of money to get the beaches back into shape, and the almost all of the hotels are better after the renovations than they were before. The hurricane has become a total non-issue. Have Fun!

Almost everything is back up and running now. Most hotels have been fixed up as well as the shops.
