Mexico is a great place to visit. However, try to stay away from the "Fall" months (Late August- November) because this is the rainy season. The spring time is the best (cool in the morning and warm during the day). Cuernavaca, Mexico is the best... I visit almost every year!

Avoid Acapulco if you're smart!!! The beaches are dirty, the water is polluted and even though the nightlife is excellent, be aware of the pick-pockets around...
The rest of the places they mentioned above are just fine!
Good luck!

Baja California Sur has great weather, very hot in summer tho'. The Gulf of California, the Sea of Cortez is the aquarium of the world, more species of fish than any other place and much of it has been adjudged World Heritage designation. Protected. Nice hotels, restuarants, whale watching in Guerrero ***** in winter is popular. Visit whats left of wild Baja before its covered with 20 story condos.

Acapulco has great weather all year, Cancun is like the San Diego of Mexico but has nice beaches. Cabo is nice but the beach and water aren't half as nice as Cancun.
