RIU Jalisco in Puerto Vallarta? |
Has anyone been there? I have read alot of mixed reviews and don't want to be disappointed. Mainly want a nice beach,beautiful landscape and a great place to relax. Might party at night a little.

Nightlife is not that important. I just meant if the resort had nightly entertainment we would take advantage of it. |

I stayed there and is a really nice hotel. They have 2 pools but kids are in both which I don't agree with.We always stay on the beach, it is nice, lots of chaises, quite a lot of umbrellas too. They have a bar ,some entertainment at night on the property sorta for families and all.You might think about Plya del carmen too. It is great and a small town with night life. |

What do you mean with "might party at night a little"?
Riu Jalisco is located in Nuevo Vallarta, a Resort area that scantily has nightlife, notwithstanding with very good beaches.
If you are interested in nightlife, you should know that such is located in Vallarta only, and if you plan to stay at Nuevo Vallarta you should be wary that Taxi fares are expensive (~15 USD per trip).
I wouldn't recommend staying at any Nuevo Vallarta resort if nightlife is something important to you, and you are not on your own ride. |

Well the beach there is ugly but is a nice hotel with nice lanscape and they have some entertainment at night time.

NO, Hotel Riu Jalisco is not in Jalisco State and it is not in Puerto Vallarta.
Hotel Riu Jalisco and Hotel Riu Puerto Vallarta are located on the same street in the area of Flamingos, north of Nuevo Vallarta. (45 minutes driving north from Puerto Vallarta).
These hotels are located in the State of Nayarit, north of Jalisco State. No night life in that area, no shops, no galleries, no discos, no nothing.
To relax I think it is a great place, the beach is ok and the hotel is very nice. Best luck to you. |
