There are many parts of Mexico where people are wealthy and probably better off than you, remember, it's a big country, the only poverty is near the border, so yeah, if she wants to go there, take her, just be prepared for young children begging for money and women asking you to take their babies. |

Well, obviously, you can't force her there, but if you both want to go, go! Make sure to only buy products ther that are fairtrade, then. (meaning farmers/workers are paid fairly)
you dont' have to leave the country to experience poverty, though. volunteering at a local soup kitchen or "poorhouse" is good too. |

Oh dont bother. Just go in a certain area of the city you live in. No need to go all the way down to Mexico. Just find a ghetto spot in your city, and there probably isnt mexicans there. Just regular ole americans. |
