Should I go to Mexico?
I got to go to Mexico on Saturday I already got the trip planned out, I made plans without thinking about it because I didn't think the people of Mexico cared if a American went to their country for a visit and that they'd be friendly...I can speak spanish but I'm a little on the nervous side of going to Mexico because this picture made me think otherwise
Maybe one half of one percent of Mexicans have something against Americans. You'll find that the other 99.5 percent are friendly people. Some Americans go down there with an attitude that says: "I'm richer than you and I'm better than you, so I can boss you around."
The Mexicans build the resorts to keep Americans coming down--they love the gringo's dollars.

whatever you do try not to go though cuidad juarez it is a major warzone between mexican officials and drug cartels i have family that lives there and they say they try to leave the house as little as possible it is a very dangerous place to go alot of people (mostly women and girls) get killed and raped) just in case you wanted to know

Well, if you go, your next trip may be to the promised land. Juarez the most dangerous on the border. Thanks to our country's so called war on drugs, they;re not especially fond of Americans.

Smack in the middle of possible trouble.
Texas here. Not for me.
If you do, DO NOT drive your car across. You can walk the bridge or taxi.

Hola. Go canucks. I would say no problemo. I am here in Mexico right now and a Canadian. Don't be nervous. Its really okay. Just always go with a sense of awareness, and don't go looking for drugs or prostitutes, and you should be fine.

Ciudad Juarez is horrible... really
can't you think of taking an airplane or something?
Arnold
Ciudad Juarez is the most dangerous town in the western hemisphere, but unless you stop to make a drug purchase, you should have no trouble passing through. Thousands of people do it daily. The cartels target each other and law officials.
But if you want extra peace of mind, cross elsewhere, but not at Laredo.
