There is no age limit just say your 18 they dont ask for an I.D

Yes, 18 and over. If your sister buys one for you, you will just have to drink it somewhere else, wear high heels and adulty clothing.

18 but when I went to Mexico with my parents when I was 16 I asked for a drink and when he asked for my ID my mom said it was Ok with her and then they served me. Odd huh?

legally 18 but, there is always the dark ways of getting alcohol, you dont get trouble if she orders for you, i had my friend who is 18 to order for me and i am 16 and there was no problem at all,

It may depend on what your parents paid for you to stay there.

If they paid a lower rate because you are not of drinking age then you would likely get a different color bracelet (assuming they use them to identify the guests, some places do some don't) and therefore not be able to drink. I doubt this is the case as the resort/tour operators generally start charging adult rates around 13 or so. (not to say they let 13 yr. olds drink).

My guess is you will be fine. Most resorts are not that strict.

As long as you don't look like you're 12-16 you'll be fine, if you look like you could drink (or 18), then more than likely you'll be able to. Yes, legal age is 18... the bars don't enforce it but if for some reason you make a cops day, he WILL enforce it, to his advantage that is... And if you're gonna go drink, make sure you know your drinks too...

I highly doubt it...But prepare for consequences cause your opening yourselves up to be taken advantage of....So in this Case drink responsibly if you cant then don't drink...

Drinking age is 18. If you are with your family and you look of age it will probably be okay.

Why are you so worried about drinking @ 17. You do know drinking is not all it's cracked up to be? It doesn't make things any more fun, but if you really wanted to drink w/o having a problem your parents should be the ones supervising. If they allow you it shouldn't be a problem. In the USVI the drinking age is 16.

Its 21 but they never check ID....heck just get wasted already. I mean you might not be able to enter some bars if they check your ID but everyone can go to Oxxo or 7-11 and buy a 6 pack.
