Tijuana for a day what will i need to bring to get in and out? |
I want to go to Tijuana for a day. Will i need a passport to enter Tijuana or back to the US?? Some people say all you will need a birth certificate nd a valid ID. So which is it??

To go thru the border, you now have to have a passport. Go to www.tsa.gov to get more info.
To go inside to protect yourself, you will need a gun, to get out you will need a casket. |

Charlie answered your question correctly. You do not need a passport or visa to enter Tijuana as you describe.
However, they are scheduled to require a passport after June 1st, 2009, for re-entry to the USA.
You can also get a passport card if you don't plan on doing the kind of travel abroad where a normal passport is required. A passport card is cheaper and faster to obtain.

Enjoy your day in Tijuana, and consider getting away from the big city and visit other Baja towns like Rosarito or Ensenada. |

PASSPORT will be required, for now if you dont have that, a birth certif is required. I live in Baja. I know this for a fact. the more ID you have on you the better. You cannot bring Pork, or fruit back to the US either. |

U dont need anything to get into tijuana, but to get back to san ysidro u will need a passport |

As of June 1 you must have a passport. it is currently taking about 4 to 6 weeks to get a passport. Before June 1, you may go to and from Mexico with your birth certificate and photo I.D. |
