Travelling by car you will need photo ID, Birth certificates (including one for the child to prove you are the proud parents).
NO PASSPORT REQUIRED UNTIL JUNE 1, 2009 IF TRAVELLING BY LAND (to return to the USA).
You will need a Mexican Tourist Visa (good for up to 6 months) which you can get at the border and this must be returned to Mexican Immigration when you leave.
You will need to get Mexican Car Insurance which you can get at the border towns in the USA. US Car Insurance not valid in Mexico.
You need to have the documentation readily available when stopped in Mexico.
ENJOY YOUR VACATION!!! |

If you are driving, you need government-issued ID (driver's license) and proof of citizenship (birth certificate).
Of course, if you are flying you need a passport. |

I have always wanted to live in Mexico and own my own rectangular house with a villa inside. And maybe a pool in the center. I woujld walk around with a gun on my hip and own horses and me and my men would ride our horses. I might have a wife and she would be so HOT!!!!!!!!!!! |

Well, as of this January, you need a PASSPORT to go to Mexico, whether you're driving, flying, or going by ocean. Make sure you all have your passports. Usually they don't really ask for anything when you are exiting the U.S. by car, but when you come back in, they will do a small inspection of the bottom of your car, your passports, and ask if you are carrying in agriculture and or alcohol.By airplane, you definitely need your passports. Make sure you don't go over the weight limit for your luggage and are carrying liquid bottles or anything "suspicious" like that with you. You can go to the postal office and acquire passports, but they will take 6-12 weeks to get to you. So plan ahead of time. Other than that, if you're going during this season, you need some warm clothes and some shorts. It's humid and raining around this time of season, but it CAN get a little cold. Anyway, hope you have a fun and safe trip. Mexico is a good vacationing destination. |

You used to be able to just pass through with a drivers license but since Homeland Security, you'll want to have your passport. |

If you are traveling by car you will need photo identification and one other form that proves that you are a USA citizen. You definitely need a passport to fly. http://www.travel-mediainfo.com/General-Mexico/133012.htm |
