Travling to Mexico City?
For my spring break, i want to go visit a friend in mexico city. I've never been there before and i would have to take a plane. How old do you have to be to travel there alone? i mean he would be picking me up from the airport and i would have a nice place to stay. And how would I go about customs and immigration? Do you need to be 18?
You may travel to Mexico alone under the age of 18 if you have parental permission. If you are 15 or over the airlines will let you travel as an adult. If you are under 15 your parents will need to pay the extra fee for you to fly as an unaccompanied minor. You will need a passport and a letter of permission from your parents. See 1st site below for all passport application info and the 2nd site for permission letter info. Read the section on MINORS under "Entry Requirements.". My grandson flew here to Mexico alone and I picked him up at the airport..no problem and he loved it.

Don't worry too much I go there often, Don't worry bout the water like every one says the water here in America has been proven to be about the same as the one there, and try not to travel around alone it's really easy to get lost in that city.
