From the map I saw, Dean should be past Cancun by 8AM Tuesday the 21st. That doesn't mean that there may be plenty of rain still following in its wake.
If there is any way to switch to a Pacific coast resort, you might be luckier.

I heard that ANOTHER Hurricane is brewing in the Atlantic, near Africa. So keep an eye on that one. I'm supposed to visit Cancun from 9-1 thru' 9-8 to celebrate my bdy, but now I am re-considering that trip. THANK GOD, I have not purchased the package yet.
