Ways to find jobs in Puerto Vallarta Mexico?

My husband is from a small town called San Juan de Abajo it is about 30 minutes or so from Puerto Vallarta. We live in South Carolina in the USA right now and would love to relocate to PVR. I am a Certified nursing assistant and he is a fork lift operator with various other abilities as well. How can we find a job in Puerto Vallarta and possibly a house in the town where his family lives?
Additional Details
To the person who says I can't work in Mexico, get a clue! There are plenty of Americans who live and work in Mexico. You seem as if you think I am in the wrong to be seeking life and work there. I love it there just as much as I love it here.

HE can find a job when you get there...impossible to do from a distance. YOU, cannot work in Mexico without a work visa...and to get that you have to find an employer to write a letter to immigration stating he is giving you a job for which he cannot finds a Mexican citizen...so you need to be highly educated and have rare work skills. You cannot get a work visa for a low skill job...just cannot be done. There are MANY low skill and also, high skill, university educated Mexicans who are unemployed...they do not need foreign workers and will not give a job to a foreign worker if there are qualified Mexicans avail...which there are. Also, jobs pay 1/10th what they pay in the U.S. So the reality is, you cannot work in Mexico.

You might want to check monster.com or visit the Yahoo page for Mexico and then locate Puerto Vallarta

There are several ways to begin looking, but I must warn you that salaries are maybe a third of what they are in the U.S., and commuting half an hour to a job in that area (if you are not Mexican and/or fluent in Spanish) could be a nightmare.

If you are fluent in Spanish, you could begin with the online Mexican job sites, but both of you may find it easier to look for positions in person, considering your industries.

Some online job search sites in Mexico:

http://www.trabajos.com/
http://www.bolsamexicanadetrabajo.com/
http://www.occ.com.mx/
http://www.monster.com.mx/

If you are American, you might also want to look into joining a group of other Americans living there (or nearby). A website like www.solutionsabroad.com may be very helpful in this regard and probably also has tips for finding employment.

Good luck!
