Great, try to go to the archaeological sites such as Teotihuacan, Tulum, Chichen Itza, and beaches like Cancun or Cabo. Mexico is a great place, been there 3 times.

Take a look at visiting Playa Zipolite, Oaxaca, Southern Mexico, on the Pacific Ocean.
Very remote. So remote that it will take you 6 hours to drive to the closest McDonalds.
You can still rent a palapa right on the beach for $5 to $10 US.
Great FRESH seafood.
