An ancient Mexican indigenous culture made man made islands and cultivated flowers and vegetables on them.

Mexico is the only Spanish speaking country that is considered to be a part of North America.

Mexico City is built right on top of ancient Aztec ruins.

Mexico is one of the 17 megadiverse countries of the world. With over 200,000 different species, Mexico is home of 10–12% of the world's biodiversity.

The Tropic of Cancer effectively divides mexico into temperate and tropical zones. Land north of the twenty-fourth parallel experiences cooler temperatures during the winter months. South of the twenty-fourth parallel, temperatures are fairly constant year round and vary solely as a function of elevation.

1.Many of the cities in Mexico were started in the 1500s.
2. Several of the cities have several million people: Mexico city with 25 million, Guadalajara with 8 million, Monterrey with 5 million, Zacatecas with 3 million, and Aguascalientes with 1 million.
3. The area around Guadalajara is known as "Mexico's Silicon Valley."
4. In the central, mountainous area of the country, it rains only during the 3 summer months

an interesting fact that not a lot of people know about Mexico is that the roots of the "parol", or christmas lanterns as they are known in the Philippines, can be found in the Mexican piñata. The piñata came to Spain from Italy in the 1300's, spread to Mexico and finally came to the Philippines when the Spaniards brought Christianity to the islands.

It has been the only latinamerican country which has had a well developed film industry in the 40's and 50's. They had big movie starrs, like:
Pedro Infante
Mario Moreno "Cantinflas"
German Valdez "Tin-tan"
María Felix, and more...

mexico df is one of the cities with more population in the world.. with 20 million habitants like the 3 of NYC..and it was build on top a lagoon?? and that under the city theere are ruins of the city built by the aztecs..TENOCHTITLAN???
and there is even more..
that in 85 it had a horrible earthcuaque or however it is written
and a lot of people died!!!!!
and in the Hospital General of mexico city about 5 just born babies survived under the ruins of the hospital for even 2 WEEKS!!!
those boys and girls are now called "ninos milagro"

mexico is so poor..because presidents don't know how to control that beautiful country, that has such a wonderful, incredible and amazing history and culture that any country would love to have.

like.. you know that 2 times a year..in the equinox the shadow of a snake comes down of the kukulkan pyramid in chichen itza??? you knew that? for all you people that don't like mexico and don't even know it..you are so idiots
because for me is so beautiful
and has a lot of things to offer to the world..
you just have to go there

Well this should wow your Spanish teacher

100 years ago. WAY before Will Smith starred in Wild Wild West, Mexico was actually ran by pirates. These were the pirates who were nor ARRRRRRgrssive to make the cut and sail the seven seas with Blackbeard, Captain Hook, Captain Crunch (His real name), and of course Captain Ron.

They built models of large ships which actually were just gas stations. They thought they were in Texas, so they didn't want to get sued by Emmit Smith. They named the new land "Texico". Once all Texico's became Shell stations, all the Lameoid pirate's faces melted like Indiana Jones style. Except one, who was named "Darven".

He was chewing some Big League Chew as he yelled "Warcom doo Mexico!!!!" to a group of forein tourist!!

And Mexico was Bourne (taco Supremacy)
