Look up spring break in Cancun on the internet, from what I've seen all you need is the pesos, Oh yeah, and be able to see over the bar top to order. EMmmm, 17 and you want to go clubbing in Cancun.

18 to drink... Party party, but Cancun is not what u will expect! ive been there and its more expensive then america, because everything is over priced!! On top of that is dirty and sleazy! Go somewhere nice in Mexico(puerto Vallarta,Cabo,) somewhere besides Cancun..... where you can have an awesome time at clubs, little island cruises,sightseeing, etc.... it will 100% be worth it! Im telling you Cancun isnt all that! Dont stress your age, i was 17 when i went like couple yrs ago, and i didnt have an id but when the bouncers asked for my id i would say i left my passport in the hotel and its too far to walk all the way there!! Lolzzzz, and they would say ok!!

I doubt that you will have to show any ID. I've been many times and have never seen anyone ever get ID'd before.

we took our son to PV for senior year spring break and he was only 17 and they didn't even question putting on the over 18 wrist band. If you are going unchaperoned you may not get through customs as I think you must be 18 to travel outside the country. Cancun is not a place for unchaperoned kids. But, if you do go, DON'T go walking around at night alone and especially if you are smashed. In Cancun one year my son was propositioned with everything from drugs to the guy's mother and sister!!!
