The grand velas resort in Pto. Vallarta. Everithing was great, the suites, the spa, the food (all restaurants), the staff. I had a great week i relax a lot. |

If you are going specifically to Puerto Vallarta then I have a few recommendations, First of all the best place to stay at is the RIU Jalisco your drink service is 24 hrs your room service is 24 hrs your mini bar is restocked daily and all of the rooms are fabulous. All of the twenty four hour services are included in the price. It is a bit more expensive but for the services and room are well worth it. Next on the list is the Canto Del Sol. This is more for people that like to party and families enjoy staying here as well the buffet is alright but the a la carte meals are great. It is cheaper but is still a three and a half star.
Another hotel that is good is the Villas Vallarta it is part of the Canto Del Sol and in high season they place you there. It is not right on the beach but if you book properly you can get a pool side suite which is awesome the pool boys deliver right to your patio. |

The Hilton in Cancun is awesome! The food is a little pricey. The swim up bar in the infinity pool is fabulous! |

golden crown paradise resort in puerto vallarta! it was adults only and it was great! they had awesome service, great food (nachos by the pool were sooo yummy!), the rooms were clean and cozy! the breakfast room service was delicious! they had a family resort connected and had a great kids section for the pool (pirate ship) and etc. the view on the 4th floor was great! they have several suites where there is your own private hot tub on the balcony on the top floor. |

Xpu-Ha Palace . it is the greatest resort i've ever been to. snorkelling right on the resort in the lagoon, along with scuba diving, we saw moray eels, french angelfish, damselfish, all without leaving the resort. an experience of a lifetime.

On the west coast....south of Puerto Vallarta and near the Bay of Carres, there is a resort called El Tamarindo.....private villas, water front, private pools and your own butler. It is the BEST. If Rui Reas is still the manager he also is the best. It is a little more expensive....but well worth it. |

Acapulco!! It is awesome, It is kind of like Cancun, but cheaper. I guess you can say Acapulco has not been discovered yet, even though there are a lot of tourist there, but it has not gotten to the point where it is so expensive. the hotel I stayed in was called the Avalon, it was right on the beach!! You should check it out!! |
