The legal drinking age in Mexico is eighteen. Not all clubs are srict but you just don't know tell you try. All they can do is tell you no if your underage.

You don't have to be 18 at all... to get into clubs, it depends on the crowd of the club and the season. Just stay away from the high class oldie kinda club (unless you have contacts) and you'll be perfect. I used to go to cancun when I was 16 and got into most of the clubs and got enough drinks so don't worry.
