A must do is the Los Veranos Zip line tour!

ATV's are fun... but if you must choose go on the early zip line. The later one gets quite hot.

Take a bus out to Brucerias

Catamaran Boat ride

Sightseeing on "Old Town" go early for lunch, enjoy the beach and eat dinner on the way back to your Hotel

Scuba Diving. I heard that Mexico has a lot of caves and such but you could taste and dine out to experience the food, go to the marina and the boardwalk! Its awesome there and go gift and souvenir shopping.

Horseback riding, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming in natural pool with rock waterfall. There is one day tour that includes all of these activities (except fishing) plus lunch. They do serve alcohol on the way back, though. Sightseeing in the main city is also enjoyable.

We;re going to Nuevo Vallarta in January too. After talking to different people on Trip Advisor, all agreed that whale watching in January is amazing.

I went to puerto vallarta with my family after i graduated from high school. believe me, there is plenty of things to do! take a trip to the beach (if your not staying on it) and there is endless things to rent and do there. i would also recommend doing some of the city tours that they have. if you are there for shows, there is also plenty dinner shows, etc.

I am also going to Puerto Vallarta in January! I am planning on doing snorkel and canopy tours. The canopy tours are zip lines through the jungle! I wanted to do an atv tour but they are too expensive for me.

My uncles are actually the owners of it and right now the zoo has a baby lion that people can play with and take pictures with. Right now the White tiger, Bengal tiger, Lion, Puma, and Black Panthers are pregnant and by the time that you get there they may have been born too. Puerto Vallarta is THE Best!! You won't run out of things to do, don't worry. Go downtown and go shopping by the bay.

One of my favorite things to do there is to go to Mismaloya. It's a neat, hidden little beach that is just beautiful. There are little restaurants all around so you should just go to one and get a table there on the beach and hang out there all day - alternating between eating great food and going for a dip in the ocean :)

Take the booze cruise to colomitos and majahuitas, whale waching, canopy, horse back riding, atv`s, Rent a private panga boat for up to 15 people for like 45 per hour and go snorkeling and Sightseeing, go walk on the malecon, etc.
