Christianity, is one, therefore every thing that has to do with Jesus christ, like Chrismas and Eastern for example,

Food, There is a lot of Mexican food incorporated in American diet, and over here in Chihuahua, people love hamburgers sometimes more than Tacos,
But nowadays the world has been getting smaller, and cultural barriers still exist, but they are getting smaller by the minute. |

I would say Christianity is the biggest cultural similarity between Mexico and the US.
I think they are different countries, with diferent origins that have been mixed throughout the years......Southern Texas and all the states across the border are good examples of this mix...........Thousands of Hispanos (Mexicans) celebrating thanksgiving and speaking Spanglish, as well as thousands of Anglo Americans eating tacos and Guacamole.
We are different I would say, but compatible.

You'd probably get more differences than similarities. My wife is from Mexico, has a large family in Mexico and here in the states. I've been to Mexico over a 100 times, both business and personal trips. We've driven all over Mexico and the Baja South. I would imagine other than common human instincts, you'd find many more differenecs than anything. That's not saying anything negative, just a fact, as some of the differences, well, they make us look like fools at times. |
