ok, wow...seriously, i would not trust MOST ALL of these answers!!! ignore everyone!! (except the one that gives the size and all that.)

here are some interesting facts.

mexico has tougher immigration laws than the US, and they inforce them better as well.

mexico plays their national anthem on every radio station, every night at midnight. they also have "news breaks" where all radio stations play about 5 minutes of news every hour.

students at Tech de Monterrey invented MSN Messenger. And also "Pine" the original program that eventually created most ALL college email programs.

the inventor of the color TV was from mexico

real tacos do not have lettuce, tomatos or cheese on them

yellow cheese is fake cheese served only in the US, it isn't related to real mexican food

the biggest export from mexico is drugs. the biggest importer? the US.

there is a large irish population in mexico. therefore you get red haired, green eyed mexicans.

mexico is one of only two countries that still reuse glass soft drink bottles

ummm, that's all i have for now.

Are you an adult? It is a avery tormented corrupt capitalist country. People eat rats, cats etc . I live with a Mexican that has 22 brothers and sisters and his father was an alcoholic and died young. And he is from Mexico City, not from the country where the poverty is worse. He doesn't own a cowboy hat or boots. But you can look up the history online and it is a very beautiful country landscape wise with beautiful beaches and waterfalls and mountains. But unfortunately they lack educational resourses and just can't seem to dig them selves out. their solution is to run here..... and they are rich here by any comparison. hope you find the right answer to your question

Covering almost 2 million square kilometers, Mexico is the 5th largest country in America by total area and 14th largest in the world. With a population of about 103 million, it is the 11th most populous country and the most populous Spanish-speaking country in the world.

Mexico is firmly established as an upper middle-income country. Elections held in July 2000 marked the first time that an opposition party won the presidency to the Institutional Revolutionary Party (Partido Revolucionario Institucional: PRI), that held it since 1929.

There is no de jure constitutional official language at the federal level in Mexico. Spanish, however, is used as a de facto official language and is spoken by 97% of the population. The General Law of Linguistic Rights of the Indigenous Peoples, however, grants all indigenous minority languages spoken in Mexico, irrespective of the number of speakers, the same validity as Spanish in all territories in which they are spoken.

Number two source of Mexico's revenue comes from Western Union and other money transfers from the USA.

These are facts ... not opinions.

Their economy is based on (major source of income) sending money from the USA back to Mexico.

Their major export is illegals to the USA.

The population of Mexico is shrinking, not growing, because of emigration.
