Obviously and foremost, Tequila.

Hand made sarapes (what you call "ponchos"), hand embroidered typical clothes for women and children and a pashmina-like item called REBOZO, talavera (very colorful pottery made in the state of Puebla), typical candies such as camotes, cocadas, alegrias, ates, dulces de leche, cajeta, chocolate (to prepare hot cocoa)........ mole (chocolate-chili sauce), coffee, wooden handpainted toys and other accesories (boxes, cooking items)..... too many to name here, you should be a bit more specific about what kind of products you want to know about.

A significant percentage of the produce you consume is made in Mexico. Crude oil. coffee (the best in the world in my opinion), tequila, Kahlua, beer, several automobiles. Mexico is the only place that the Beetle is built and I think there are some other cars that are also only built here. Christmas decorations, the largest Christmas ornament factory in the world is in Michoacán. Textiles and clothing, shoes and leather products. Pharmaceuticals and chemicals. Quite a lot is made here.

One of the highest quality products from Mexico is Taxco silver jewelry (with the stamp of Taxco on it).
In addition to that there are many more rustic arts and crafts, i.e. bark paintings, beautiful wool serapes with greatly varying designs, pottery, including the black earthenware pots from the Oaxaca region, paper flowers, papier mache puppets, wrought iron items such as patio furniture and house trim and decor, hand carved furniture and decor, etc.
In adddition there is a budding wine industry in Baja California. Mexico also is famous for its Tequila.

Popular folk arts, glass, ceramics, silver jewelry and of course, petroleum products, watch those cowboy hats, some are made in China. Tourism is a big profit maker for Mexico.
