I would stay at one of the Palace Resorts. Some of their resorts are couples only. Sun Palace and Aventura Spa Palace. What I like about Palace is that you stay at one, you can visit the others. They also include in their package some free excursions.

we stayed at the moon palace hotel for our honeymoon and it was amazing.It hasn't got the best beach but the pool makes up for it,it is enormous! There were families there but the pool is that big that we didn't notice them.The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly.As someone else posted the link I won't bother.The rooms are also amazing,I think each one has got a double jacuzzi in the room itself and not in the bathroom.We even had a hammock on our balcony.The mini-bar is free and restocked with water,soft drinks and beer every couple of days.
It isn't cheap but for us it was worth every penny and we cannot wait to go back.

the azul beach of karisma hotels is really really really nice and minimalistic, is a boutique hotel with gourmet food, all inclusive, it is in ppuerto morelos, about 15 mins of cancun and15 of playa del carmen, so, you can go both places every day. |
