What are the best all-inclusive resorts in Acapulco in terms of price and location?

I am planning a spring break trip for a group of college seniors. We are looking to spend under $1000 each (including airfare, hotel, and transportation) and would like to stay in an all-inclusive resort. Most of us have never been to Acapulco before so we are not sure where we should look, location wise. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated and very helpful. Thanks!
Additional Details
Or, would it be less expensive to stay in a regular hotel and just buy drinks?

Hello I'm from Acapulco and the most popular hotel for spring breakers is the Hotel Copacabana is not the best but is all inclusive and close from everything and a lot of spring breakers arrive there and Hyatt , if you want an all inclusive Hotel but you care about how nice it is so go to Mayan Palace is very nice , is all inclusive , but is not close from the discotheques and restaurants .
If you probably are interesting in arrive in a house or a condo close to the beach and everything maybe will be cheap and you can stay with friends in the same place with all the services, you can pay like 20 dollars to somebody that can cook for you Mexican food and clean , i know some people that like this way ,if you want more information about it contact me. claudia1377@yahoo.com

Go to "Packages" section from top

You can also try to search using "SmartSearch" tool.. you can compare price from one location.. i loved it.. You dont have to go to individual sites and type in trip detail again and again.. enter once and you are done..

El Conquistador
if you plan to spend under 1000 for plane, hotel, and transpo then you better get a big room and have all you frats cram in because the flight alone is about 500-600 $ depending where you are flying from and especially during spring break.

First, go to Tripadvisor.com to read reviews from other travellers.
Then go to http://Luxe.worldventures.com They search all the other main sites like Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, hotel and airline sites and offer you the lowest price. You’ll save even more when you book it as a package like air and hotel together. Plus they’re the only online site that offers LIVE chat where you can make your specific requests such as non-smoking, king-size or double beds, etc.
Check them out and see.

I lived in Acapulco for a year. You want to be close to the night life and practicully all the hotels are located on Costera Miguel Aleman, the main street. All hotels there are pretty affordable and the majority of them are all inclusive., plus they're either a walking distance from all the night life or a really short taxi ride. Acapulco is a great place to go on a budget, it's very cheap there! Stay away from the large hotels like the Mayan and Princess, they are expensive plus far from all the night life.
