Maybe something like a perfume or something from the bath and body works. Some place they don't have there. Maybe some nice Clinique lipsticks or lip gloss. A cute purse. Girls always like purses. I lived in argentina and everyone liked anything they couldn't get there.

Hi, I'm mexican and I can tell you with my very bad englisn that mexican gils likes flowers or parfum but not an expensive gift, we prefer go to have dinner.. but your right.. not money. Here a lot of people smoke Marlboro or Marloboro lights.

WELL IF THEY ARE CATHLIC, BUY THEM ONE OF THE FIGURES OF THE VIRGEN MARY THAT HAS APPEARED LIKE ON THE CHEESE SANDWICH, SHIRT, ETC. BUT ALSO LIKE THE NICE PAIR OF EARINGS FROM K-MART THAT IS ON SALE FOR 5-6 DLLS. MAKES THEM HAPPY.
IF YOU KNOW THEIR CLOTHES SIZE, BUY THEM A PAIR OF JEANS AND BLOUSE. THAT IS BIG FOR ANY GIRL. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE EXPENSIVE. YOU CAN BUY BOTH FOR UNDER 10 DLLS. AND THEY WILL BE VERY GRATEFULL.
CIGARETTS THEY WOULD SELL THEM THAN SMOKE THEM.
PERFUME IS GOOD AS WELL. BUT YOU NEED TO KNOW WHICH ONE YOU LIKE.

EARINGS ARE BETTER AND CHEAPER.

What mexican girls like are romantic gifts. I know some that would rather receive more practical gifts, but they're not the majority. Here's some tips:
-You can't go wrong with silver earrings, specially dangling ones. -Also perfumes are sooo apreciated, because they mean the person that gave it spend a little more money than usual. My cousin works at a perfume shop -a budget one- and he says the majority of young women buys 212sexy and ParisHilton imitation scents.
-Chocolates are good, but they're not so special unless they're belgian ones.
-Purses are also good gifts along with charmbracelets.
-Conservative mexican girls would like to receive small statues of saints or Virgin Mary figures or crosses made out of silver or pewter.
-Mexican girls smoke Marlboro Light or Benson mentholates.

and i could say
we like chocolates, perfume, flowers
depending on the girl, a good book, a good cd...
maybe a nice jewel (i don't mean diamonds haha) something made of silver, a nice ring or earrings, not fancy...a sweater, a nice shirt...
something nice, personal...don't worry if it's expensive or not..
in Mexico we say what matters is the intention...be creative!!!

i think must of people smoke Malboro the red ones or with menthol.

mm mexican girls are not very picky when it comes to gifts, use your imagination and give something you think they might like, if you choose with your heart they will surely appreciate it ....and please never give them money that would be very offensive...

about cigarretes.....well it depends on the person but in Mexico Marlboro and Benson (menthol) is very popular among girls...but I think it depends on personal tastes of course

I'm not sure about the cigarettes, but I live in Mexico for a year and a half when i was 12. And when I left and came back to visit, i brought earrings. Not fancy ones, but semi-dangly ones that were nice. They absolutely loved them.
