What do Mexican Immigrants do to make a living once here in the US.?

the mexicans i know here from mexico do the following....advertising executive, stock broker, doctor, and diplomat. and guess what...not all of them are legal!!!! can you guess which one??

the point here is...you NEVER know who might be an illegal alien. not all illegals mow lawns or work contruction. not all illegals are womanizers, or uneducated, or even low income.

I believe they work, next time you eat guess who picked the vegetables & fruits (hispanics). Meat also is another example. Construction who does it (hispanics).

When you come from a country where an amateur architect is paid $25 a day; any job in the US beats that... just imagine if you're not an architect, looking at $10-$12 a day.

Most immigrants that come to the US already have relatives here that they can stay with, the people that don't, have it even harder. Most immigrants that come here start working or looking for a job immidiately at whatever pay. They don't sit around and wait to be "called". They do jobs that don't require alot of communicating.

They do most jobs that citizens don't want to do, because citizens are not willing to do those jobs for that pay. I'm sure any non-immigrant would be picking up fruits and veggies if they're getting paid $25-$30 an hour; but it's not going to happen. So it's not that immigrants are really taking "our" jobs, they're just doing jobs that nobody else will do for the pay. Even if you were to say that if they didn't take these jobs that companies would be forced to increase the pay... they wouldn't. They would just bring in workers with work permits from Mexico and solve the problem.

Once they get passed this phase, depending on the individual, they start focusing on what they want to do here. Whether it's to temporarely send money back to Mexico, start their families here, or own their business, or become legal and learn the language to get another job; endless possibilities.

Unless you've lived in another country outside the US, it's hard to see and understand why people come to this nation. You heading to the nice resorts and beaches is not even the shell of what that country is about; harsh realities everywhere.

First They Get a Job(Doesn't matter what, with who, when, where, or how just as long as they have one) Then Find a Place to Sleep. That's it!
Everyone I know (including myself) has been through this, what happens afterward depends on that person.

usually they do something easy with a boss who could care less if theyre illegal. (like construction)

Jobs Americans dont want ,some people prefir welfare to farm labour dirty jobs etc,
