You need either a passport OR a valid driver's license with an original (embossed with state seal) birth certificate. If you are a married female and going the birth certificate route, you should bring your marriage certificate (copies okay). If you are going past the Border Zone (tourist/travel area just inside Mexico, extends as far as Puerto Penasco from AZ) you need a tourist card that you get at the border or on your airplane. You do not HAVE to have a passport to go to Mexico yet, but it is easier coming back into the US if you have one.
If you are driving a car, you need a raft of other stuff. |

to cross it going into mexico or back from mexico? to go to mexico you really don't need much, but to come back it's differnt you may be ask for a birth certificate, proof of ID you'll be ask if you are a US citizen, anything to declare,[ fruits avacadoes, medicine,and other forbidden stuff that can not be brought to the US. they may ask you "what was the purpose of your visit to mexico?" your vechicle maybe submitted for a revision {inspection} to check for contraband items. no need to worry if you are not hiding anything |

Im really not sure but you might want to go to the Mexican counsol to see what is needed to go To MExico...I think that what u need is a birth certificate and passport...not really sure .......visit government websites that provide information on thiz |

Hello there do you need just the passport you can take other 2 ID but you dont need it .....and a good map for the place that you want watch travelers checks your credit card and a few cash aaahh and the wish of have fun! when you crossing go to the inmigration office for take some documents and information |
