all you need is a Passport. You can get a Passport at almost any Post Office
Hope that helps |

Well, it depends upon where you will be traveling in Mexico. Mountains require different gear compared to the beach. The Pacific coast is different than the Gulf of Mexico. Mexico City is different from the rural towns... so -- where are you heading? |

Well I am pretty sure you will need a passport since you're leaving the country, and you'll probably also need to know a lil spanish to find you way around ya know.?

I suggest a good, stout, clinker built sailing vessel, cutter rigged by choice.
Standard also, on any long voyage, is to take tins of honey and plenty of money. |

A passport, or your birth certificate with the original "raised seal" and a lot of money to blow on stuff. |

When I was a teenager, we used to go every year for Christmas. I miss going! The biggest thing you need is to know basic Spanish so you can get around. Not so much go places get around, but stuff like the hot from cold water, where's the bathroom, etc.... Mazatlan is highly recommended by me! Lots to do and very fun! The plus side to a big tourist city/town is that most of the natives will be pretty fluent in English so you don't have to rack your brains to much! Have fun! Wish I was going :( |

i would only take one pair of clothes flip-flops and a swimsuit!! when i went to mexico i wore my swimsuit the whole time except one day when it rained!! also bring some sunscreen, sunglasses.(but they do sell knock off sunglasses for cheap!)and some pain killers!! the first day i was there i got stung by a jelly fish and we could not read the medicine labels to get me pain killers!!
even in a tourist town not a lot of people speak english!! |

If you don't live in Mexico, passport, sunscreen that you can put on and go into water and not harm the water. (Don't know what it's called, but they'll make you buy it there if you go on any snorkeling)It's cheaper here. Plenty of $1's to tip. Imodium, pepto chewables, hat, camera. Have fun, it's a great place. |

a lot of cash, carry it in different spots on your person ( ie, in your shoe, some in a pocket, some in your camera case, etc) money can get you out of most trouble in mexico if you happen to find yourself between a rock and a hard place. don't give up all your cash, just one stash.
you do NOT need a passport, although its always benificial to have one. if you stick to the touristy places, you'll be fine... just like visiting california, except they speak a different language. |
