Firstable We don't eat burritos... you eat them thinking that is mexican food but you won't find any Burrito at least in Mexico City. Another thing is that Modelo is not the most famous beer as a matter of fact most of the people dislike it. The best mexican beer is the Corona or some brands that you only find here like Victoria or Negra Modelo.
We are a troubled city, but we ain't a bunch of killers or criminals, but you only hear what they tell you to in TV so I recomend to get informed before judging!!!
If you are coming here you may want to visit Six flags, or visit some museums we have more than 130 museums so you can choose if you want to see Art, history, science,arquitecture, etc.
Also if you want to go to a bar or something like that we have near 400 places you can go(If you ask yourself why we have so many remember here we live 22 million people) so you can find places that have electronic music, hip hop, Pop, Rock, Heavy metal, Salsa, Merengue, Cuban music, african music, latin music, trance, house, gothic and a big etc.
Of course we have a wide selection of clubs, you can also find chill out clubs and if you want to party all night long we have some joints called after hours that close at 7 a.m; in all this options you can find a variety of cocktails and spirit. Of course you'll find tequila, but you can also easily find Rum, Vodka, Whisky, Cognac, beer, a wide wine selection, among other stuff.
We are surrounded by mountains so you can practice mountain related sports, we also have a beautiful zoo, some iceskating rings, several bowling joints, nearly 1500 restaurants where you can find almost any food style you like (lots of Mc Donalds, Burger kings, Pizza hut, Starbucks and KFCs so you don't have to suffer with other kind of food), we have three soccer stadiums, one bullfighting arena, 5 wrestling arenas, one track were we are having the nascar bush this weekend!!, you can also find several amusement parks, a lot of beautiful colonial buildings (we are the city of palaces). We also have the biggest flower market in the world, around 25 concert halls were you can find from opera to rock events.
We have lots of archeological site in the city and it's surroundings, we also have a lot of water parks near the city and some lakes where you can practice waterskiing, you can skydive or scuba dive near the city!!!
We have around 12 different malls, lots of cinemas, around 40 theaters where you can find plays such as "les miserables" or "the phantom of the opera". We have ballet events, popular dances events and classical music events every weekend.
Or you can just visit the "regular" tour in the Tourbus.
