They wear traditional headdresses, NOT! They wear what people here wear!

clothes

Mostly the same stuff that people in the US wear, coming from influence. Maybe, I'm guessing, there's also some Euro influence for Mexican designers. I don't think there's lots of people in Mexico wearing ponchos anymore, also... :)

The workers in Cabos wore white cotton, to keep them cool from the sun's heat, and also protect them from the sun's rays. Shorts, t shirts, jeans, just like in the states in the summer, nothing odd in other words.

Not much. I lived in a fusia bikini, sandals and a fun hat they sell on the beach along with the cool beaded neclace they sell and you can't leave with out buying the glass windchime and a few silver rings and bracelets. Some people get their hair braided which is cool. They also sell colored opals on the beach. Oh I miss Mazatlan and Senior Frogs.

Normal clothes like you and I do. Some of the indigenous people (esp. Southern Mexico) wear white clothes with brightly colored embroidery. Some other indigenous people wear clothing typical of their region.
I didn't see any of those goofy sombreros except in Santa Clara on Sunday morning and at the markets. Some used them to hold and sell bread. Most Mexicans don't wear them.

same as everywhere else ,jeans shorts ,shirts, slacks ,dresses,

they have stopped wearing animal skins .
but only just

farmers wear cowboy hats
only famouse singers wear sombreros .noboby else does.

kids wear school uniforms

i wear shorts because it is always more than 30 degrees here
the president wears jeans

only if you go very regional like Chiapas or in the sticks in Oaxaca do the Indios wear traditional clothes ,but mostly only the women
most men dress like the cowboys on tv .

in the town where i am in Guerrero most of the guys wear bermuda shorts ,the business guys wear jeans .

Good answers and I heartily concur. If you meant regional costumes, you'd probably have to see a folkloric show or visit a museum. Dance troupes often choreograph their shows and design and make their own costumes. Young people out here in the Baja back country wear exercise pants and tops mostly from Target and Walmart. We have lots of real working cowboys, horsemen, who dress appropriately, jeans, plaid shirts, boots and white hats. The horses are well dressed too with expensive saddles and gear.

well I'm in Puerto Vallarta and for the last three weeks I've been wearing shorts, tshirts and flip flops...I'm going to Guadelajara tomorrow and not planning on anything else.

I was going to say clothes, but Hurrican beat me to it. In the larger cities and better neighborhoods you will see similar clothes to what you would see in Paris, Madrid, or Rome. The new Mexican middle class like to show off their money and like to wear designer labels. You will also see many many people who paid a lot of money for clothes that just do not look good; on them anyway. The lower middle class and some of the more successful working class wear the sort of things that can be found at Walmart, K-Mart and lower quality stores. There is a lot of polyesther and rayon out there. The working poor and unemployed wear pretty much anything they can get; often in the category of what one might consider rags. Different native ethnic groups wear various "traditional" costumes sometimes which are made of various fabrics, from cotton to cheap synthetics.

Middle class and aspiring middle class Mexican women love high heeled shoes. Ladies boots of all styles are very much in. Tight, revealing and generally sexy tops, pants, skirts and dresses is what the women like. For casual attire men go for chinos, jeans, athletic shoes (called tennis) hushpuppy type shoes and leather jackets. There are quiet a few clods here who wear things that look like the early 1980s members Only jackets. Women like leather jackets too. It rains every day from May - October in most of Mexico so trench coats, rain coats of any sort and umbrellas are a must.

I do not know if you are being serious about the questions or you want to make fun of people. But any way. I was in Mexico last year and I thought I was going to impress people!!! WRONG, people there dress very fashionable. Latest fashion clothes, nice make-up, pretty nails, beautiful highlights and most of them like to match shoes, belt, jewelry, etc. I was there during semana santa which is very hot, and I was also there in September and it rains, they all dress accordingly; mostly young girls

depending in what part of mexico your talking about in the city the dress the same as if they were here in the USA just because they have easier access to get the stuff they want if you are asking about how people that live in the litttle town in mexico dress some dress in white dresses that have really nice bright flowers and their guarrares(sandals) and like and other town they also dress the same not much different

they dress alot like people in the US, although the women do wear sexier clothes, at least on TeleMundo

basically what we wear in the US. some trends that stand out to me....women do not wear shorts, young women tend to not wear skirts either...unless they are young, wealthier teens who wear miniskirts to a club. also, logos are pretty important...for some reason the middle class really want to be seen in tommy, polo, etc... wealthier groups tend to wear clothes with a more european influence...in my opinion, more "in style" or "trendy" than the US, and brands such as lacoste.

i would say women don't totally dress for comfort, it's more for looks, and they wear more makeup and jewelry...bangles and colorful bracelets, not classic things like silver and diamonds. lots of high heels.

guys are into cool jeans and tshirts...and the upper class groups wear these "driving loafers" kind of shoes.

imitations are rampant at street markets. for some reason mexican women tend to have flatter butts, but the insist on wearing light colored pants without pockets. i have no idea why this look is considered flattering. also, fat tends to build up in the tummy area, and they wear tighter shirts too....giving this kind of "muffin top" effect.

and i often see 30, even 40 year old women wearing things that teens would wear. again...middle and lower classes generally. the wealthier groups wear age appropriate clothes and look very elegant most of the time.
