Don't be afraid. Many drivers IN the USA are actually mexicans (I have relatives working in that). It is just to let mexican trucks companies (or american companies with trucks in Mexico) to move merchandise either from Mexico to USA or viceverse.
The fact is that there will be more benefits for americans: cheaper importing products (mainly from american companies like Levis, Ford, GMC, Green Giant, etc.)
and easier exports.
Any way, the trucks and drivers have to aproved tests by US authority. |

Well I think is fair, because we have a lot of trucks from USA driving in our country since years, and only they profited all that years of the import/ export commerce between our countries.
In addition, it will motivate the Mexican trucks companies to modernise their trucks, train their people (international drivers licences, improve their English, etc), offer better salaries, and drivers with visa, special permission...(you still have an advantage, because they are hiring your truckers). Because this are the requirements of USA (or you think every authority in your country is so "special" like your president?).
In addition, there are many Mexican companies in USA, as well as US companies in Mexico, and the business men of all the world want quality and punctuality. If any US or Mexican company broke, it will be their own fault. |

Mexican trucks that want to enter to the U.S. must have a D.O.T. certificate, which means that only those trucks will be allowed to enter the U.S. Therefore that means those trucks and their drivers have passed different thorough examinations. That's part of the NAFTA agreement and I think is really FAIR |

Mexican trucker won't put gringo truckers out of work. They are working for their own companies back at Mexico. Security? Well, I don't think they are selling weapons of mass destruction, jajajaj. But watchout with the drugs that are brought from Colombia, you know that their is a very high demand for illegal drugs in the US. Anything else, I think it's cool, they are doing there job. |

No problem. No Mexican trucker has ever taken my job. And, the allowance of Mexican truckers driving in the US has been carefully studied...and I guess NAFTA didn't ask you if it was alright. |
