What happens if you get stopped crossing the border to Mexico without declaring something? |
I am an American living in Mexico (near the border). I want to bring my son's crib to Mexico, but I don't want to pay hefty duty (like 25%-33%) on it. I know it's not so likely that I will get checked, but I want to know what is the worst thing that can happen if I do not declare it and I get stopped? |
