me and some of my family are going to Cancun, Mexico in about two weeks. i want to know what hotels do you think is the best there? id prefer 5 stars hotels. and what hotels have the best and biggest pools and what hotel doesnt have a really crowded beach? i hate going to the beach when its crowded. thanks!!! |

I really recommend the Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Resort. They have the best private beach. It's kinda of expensive but very worth it. Within the hotel they have one of the best restaurants, La Jolla great food and show. The Riu is next door also a very nice hotel, this hotel is all inclusive. Have fun!!! |

go to this site and you can go to resort reviews and read all about these. It directs you straight to trip advisor. Then go to last minute deals canada if your from there and see how cheap they are now, or go to vacation packages u.s and do air/hotel and it brings up all the hotels and star ratings and pictures then you can read even more reviews and get pricing there. The reviews always aid in my decision. Just keep in mind its really hard to please everyone when it comes to food. And the other biggest complaint in Mexico seems to be the beds are always hard no matter where you stay. So far I agree. http://redhotescapes.com/

I just stayed at the Le Meridien in Cancun and it was beautiful. It's considered a "boutique" hotel and therefore isn't as huge as some of the others on the strip. It has about 200 rooms and excellent service. It's situated between the Ritz Carlton and the JW Marriott and since it's smaller the pools and beach don't get as crowded. They have a 3 level cascading infinty pools with different temperatures in each pool. There aren't any kids on spring break who stay at his hotel. The pool service is great, they also bring free mini frozen fruit coolers and fresh fruit to you periodically throughout the day. |

I personally did not like the Riu Palace Las Americas. I do not consider them to have a very big pool, nor a very big beach. This is a smaller hotel, so you will not get anything "big". |
