What is an all inclusive resort?

I'm going on my honeymoon in Oct. and staying in an all inclusive resort in Mexico. Just curious what that includes.

Depending on which resort will tell what's included but most all-inclusives are standard All; meals, drinks(including alcohol), and water sports.

the resorts usually have websites you can look at...

it means all of your drinks and meals are included with your room. it can also refer to most of the activities provided by the resort.

The title of "all inclusive" could mean many things. Basically, it means that all of the things, or almost all of the things, that are offered in the resort, are already included in the price: meals, pool, etc. However, some so-called "all inclusive" resorts would actually charge you for example for massage or spa as an extra; would not just offer free alcoholic bevarages - you'll have to pay at the bar; or would offer other things that are not included in the price, like day-tours to a near-by town.

The best thing is to ask the resort, what is included. I also recommend reading reviews about the resort on "Tripadvisor"

inclusive means that there is everything that you need at your resort, if fully inclusive it means drinks (alcohol) and food are included also...all free of charge...have a great honeymoon

ottoman
room, food, drinks, and others what ever the hotel lays on for the guests..is included in the price you are paying plus return flight

pghmarty
Clothing optional I think.

Everything that usually pay for it. Food, Drinks, airport transportations and many facilities on the hotel to not going out at all....

It's great for a resort far from cities. In Cancun or Cozumel are many unique places to visit to stay all time at hotel... choose a Riviera coast hotel

Great for honeymooners or baby parents, for small children great if a youth club.

Have a nice day and a better trip

simply put certain resorts offer perks, such as massages, meals, and whatever else the resort offers you will have access with no additional charges. If you know of someone else getting married, check out my honeymoon registry, click on "extra" and scroll down to honeymoon registry
