What is the best resort/hotel to stay at in Cancun or Cozumel?
We stayed at the Gran Caribe Real in 2002 and LOVED it. However, in the hurricane a few years ago, it was leveled and now is getting bad reviews. Can anyone suggest a 4-5 star resort/hotel in Cancun or Cozumel? I'm hoping to get some answers from people who have been there AFTER the hurricane. Thanks so much!!
If you are looking for an adults only all-inclusive resort I would recommend The Golder Parnassus in Cancun. I've been twice and can't wait to go back.

I have stayed at many different locations and resorts in the riviera maya. The one that I would recommend first and foremost to anyone is the Occidental Grand Xcaret. It is located about tem miles south of Playa Del Carmen. We have been back to this resort many times and will continue to do so. Out of all we have been to, this is by far the best experience!
