Some great things are visiting Xel-ha and/or X-caret. Both are ecological nature parks where you can swim with the dolphins and other things.
You can visit the ancient Mayan ruins such as Chichen-Itza or Tulum if you like history and cultural things.
If you like to drink go on the Party Hopper Tour. It's a bar hopping tour where you go to three bars in one night. You get VIP access and can drink whatever you want and however much you want and they also provide the transportation.
Captain Hook's Pirate Cruise is a lot of fun. You board one of two pirate ships then they sail out into the Caribbean for a dinner cruise then on the way back the two ships converge and put on a pirate fight show. It's a great and fun time.
A place I like to go to is called Ocean Runner. You get on sea-doos and go for a 45 min. ride through the lagoon/jungle out into the Caribbean to the second largest coral reef in the world. Once there you snorkel for about an hour then head back for the 45 min. ride on sea-doos in the Caribbean. It's a lot of fun and highly recommended.
Another very fun thing to do is the Caribbean Carnival Night Cruise. You take a ferry over to the Island of Mujeres. On the ride over you are served drinks/cocktails and then when you arrive they have a party/dinner type thing similar to what a laua is right on the beach and they also have entertainment shows while you are there on the beach. It's a lot of fun.
CancÃºn is known for it's nightlife so if you like to party and let loose there are tons of places to go. Some of the best are Coco Bongo, Senor Frogs, Dady O, Dady Rock, The City, Bulldogs, Congo, Dos Equis Bar, and Corona Bar.
Coco Bongo is a must go to place though. Even if you don't like clubs this place is amazing. They put on entertainment similar to the Cirque du Soleil. It's a lot of fun at Coco Bongos. Senor Frogs is also a great place to go and they even have a waterslide that goes from inside the bar out into the lagoon so if you are feeling froggy take your swim suit and have some drinks and go down the slide. It's a lot of fun.
Other options of course include golfing, parasailing, scuba diving, and there is tons of shopping also in CancÃºn and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from.
If you can visit Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and Bubba Gump's Shrimp Factory (this place is based off the movie Forrest Gump), but it's fun to see this place.

ughm , deffinetly snorking. i just was in mexico, and i was completly amazed at the corral reffs. it was an amazing site, and it was fun. another thing to do in mexico is go to the ECO place. the ecoo place has animals running around, you get to interact with them, and everything. i hope this helped.

There are 2 ecological parks in Cancun Xel-ha and Xcaret, they are both a lot of fun. Lots to see and do. Shopping in Playa Del Carmen, and also visit the ruins. There is lots of brochures available at the resorts, to help you figure what you would like to do

I've only been to xcaret but probably going to shel-ha next time!!!

go to the really awsome animal park thing its so much fun there are shows and stuff great for kids prob broshures at where ur staying or around the area
