I have been all over Mexico an never seen any gambling place or bar ask anybody their age. If you can stand you can drink and gamble in Mexico.
They don't care, just want your money.
Word of advice to you that can save your life or keep you from being robbed. If you drink any where in Mexico, never leave your drink on the bar on the table. If you have to go to the bathroom take it with you. If you don't wish to do this, then throw your drink away when you get back.
Drugs are easily put into our drink if you leave them and walk away. And when you pass out you will be without any money or if you are lucky still have your life.

It is 18 but they do not card you at all. They do not care as long as you have money. I went there when I was 17 and not once was I asked for my i.d. Just be careful and do not get too drunk and do stupid things because the cops there are so corrupt. |

drinking age is: none really. as long as you can see over the counter top, they'll serve you. i think it's ridiculous and stupid though, i've seen it before.

Is 18 years old. This rule is quite relaxed in some places like Cancun. But in some other (Like big cities as Monterrey, Mexico, City, etc) if you are under age and caught drinking can bring you severe problems with law. |
