Fascinating history, lots of cultural and ecological variety; weather is nice most of the year; and really, really good food (no, taco bell is not mexican food). The women are very beautiful too, particularly in Jalisco and Nuevo Leon. |

For me, it's a place that I just don't know much about; I grew up in Texas, so I was around Hispanic people, but most of them were born in Texas. I think it would be interesting to know more; perhaps some day I'll get to travel there and learn. |

Great country, culture, music, art, food. The Baja Peninsula where I live is the biggest aquarium in the world, many World Cultural Heritage sites, not much significant architecture because the states were far from the historic capitol and were settled by the Church, cowboys and fishermen. Now, kids have computers, cell phones, skinny jeans and pop music. Nice people, helpful, respectful of us old folks. Forget that crime and corruption nonsense, every country has that, overdone in the media. |
