What language are US movies shown in at the theaters in Mexico City?

Sometimes, on a cinema's website, I see the word "dubbed" or "subtitled" next to the listing and sometimes nothing at all. If nothing is indicated, what language is used?

Most of the movies in Mexico City are shown in its original language, and almost every one are subtitled (except for "art movies" in festivals and short movies). So US movies are in English with spanish subtitles, when there is no indications. When they use the term "dubbed" is because it's a children's movie, or maybe a very popular one (happened with the dark knight) so, a lot of people doesn't want to view a dubbed movie, because it ruins a lot of the actors work, so they show the dubbed and the subtitled at the same time.

My grandpa used to say: "I wanna read something, why don´t we go to the movies"

English with Spanish Subtitles. Some times you will find them dubbed specially kids movies.

Some of the big multiplex cinemas have the same movie in 2 or more different theaters at the same time...one in English with subtitles, and one dubbed. If the ads do not say, it is most likely in Spanish without subtitles. Kids movies are never subtitled ...they are shown in Spanish only. When in doubt, I ask the ticket seller.

Most of the times in English with subtitles, unless it is a movie for kids, as you've been told. My guess if it does not specify it, it will be subtitled.

Usually movies are with subtitles and in Spanish, it depends on the movie theaters, if it doesn't say anything you can ask when you arrive to the theater.

Cartoons and children movies are very, very weird to find them with subtitles, here in Guadalajara there is a cinema where they offer the big season movies for kids with subtitles in the last show of the day, but not always. So you better ask.

This doesn't really answer your question but every US movie I have seen in Mexico was in English with Spanish subtitles.
